ABSTRACT
 Objective: The aim of this study is to compare Matricaria chamomilla samples collected from nature and supplied pharmacies herbalists by performing quality control analyses investigate the antimicrobial activities them.
 Methods: These were examined according Matricariae flos monograph analysis in European Pharmacopoeia. Macroscopic microscopic examination, loss on drying total ash experiment performed. Essential oil was obtained drugs analyzed thin layer chromatography. Additionally, aqueous ethanolic extracts all compared Antimicrobial activity determined microdilution method extracts.
 Results: According pharmacopoeia analysis; macroscopic examinations, except 2 herbalist found suitable for standards. In drying, none standards samples. ash, While essential M. yellow-orange colored, we blue containing chamazulene pharmacy 3 highest assay observed ethanol against Staphylococcus aureus, epidermidis Candida tropicalis strains.
 Conclusion: Examples true among samples, contrary previous studies. Pharmacy qualified but limited terms variety. pointed out importance geographical location natural tests did not provide significant results.
